Ramadan for Youth TV is a non-profit internet-based YouTube project that started during the pandemic in 2020.
It developed under Sky Academy, an accredited association established in 2017 to provide personal and academic mentoring, youth conferences, and outdoor activities to middle school, high school, and college-aged students. Sky Academy continues to build a vibrant community of mentors and volunteers to carry out these programs.
Ramadan for Youth is one such program both produced and viewed by the young generation.
During Ramadan, a month in the Islamic calendar, an hour-long episode is live-streamed daily for viewers who span all ages.
The program aims to promote cultural competency by educating about the values of Ramadan and providing a platform for collective celebration.
